Is Partner and the Managing Director of Residential Appraisal Services for Rogers & Taylor Appraisers, Inc. Graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Behavioral and Social Sciences. Is a Certified Real Estate Appraiser in New York. Is also a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of New York. Has been active in the sale of Real Estate over the past few years, keeping abreast of residential market trends.
Over the past 25 years, I have specialized in higher end properties in the "Hamptons" Real Estate markets. Properties include vacant land, improved properties and multi-residence homes for estate planning, mortgage transaction, matrimonial cases, condemnation and Trust Planning.
Has attended seminars, appraisal courses, National Conferences, and lectures given by the Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Long Island Society of Real Estate Appraisers, and other appraisal and real estate groups.
Is a New York State Approved Instructor for certified Residential courses R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4 and AQ-1. Has been an approved instructor for the Appraisal Institute since 2000 and has taught at Baruch College in NYC and CW Post College on Long Island.
Has also received extensive training through courses designed for employee development and management training. Has appraised all types of Residential properties in the New York City and Long Island area, and has reviewed Residential properties in all States along the East Coast for Residential Wholesale Lending purposes.
Has appraised many Residential properties for tax certiorari proceedings as well as for bankruptcy cases. Has appeared in court as an expert witness on behalf of lending institutions regarding bankruptcy cases, as well as Matrimonial cases in Nassau, Suffolk and Albany Court Houses. Has also appeared in many Newsday articles as an expert in the field of Real Estate. Has given lectures to Real Estate professionals on the topic of Residential Real Estate Appraising.
